Dr. Jing Ma received herM.A.Sc degree in Systems Design Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science from University of Waterloo and University of Manitoba, respectively. Since 2019, she has been withthe School of Public Policy and Administration at the Xi’an Jiaotong University, and she is currently a full Professor. Her research focuses on the broad fields of environmental sustainable development and systems design engineering, with specific interests onnatural resources management and city planning; environmental impact assessment and risk analysis; environmental policy analysis; environmental psychology and behavior; climate change and ecological restoration; and Internet of Things (IoT) in smart city.Dr. Ma served as a member of the International Scientific Committee of ICWRER anda reviewer formanycorejournalsin environmental science and engineering. She was a recipient of the 2016 Best Reviewer Award by Springer (the only recipient from Canada).
